  • Write any message on your tree and throw it in the direction of your choice with the touch of your finger.
  • See where your tree has landed.
  • Tap on any tree in your neighbourhood.
  • Rethrow any tree you pick up and add a message.
  • Add pictures, movies or drawings to your message, taken directly or selected from your photo album.
  • You can keep track of your tree anytime. Follow your tree's route around the globe.
  • Uses your actual location on map.
  • Check back from time to time to see where your trees are currently located. Open and view your own trees at all times.

Take a tree, write down your story: be it joy or sorrow, plain or euphoria. Throw it into cyberspace. You might get a reply. Or just throw a lot of interesting trees and plant a whole forest.

TAPP XE will be available between 16-12-2011 and 06-01-2012, after this period you have to switch to TAPP (Throw A Paper Plane), the same messages you throw with TAPP XE, can be found with the normal TAPP.

Features

The following features are included in TAPP XE 1.0:

  • Throw trees with messages and photos, drawings and movies in any direction, and let your tree fly around the world
  • Search for trees all over the world, and open them if they are within range of your current position
  • Add messages and photos, drawings or movies to the trees you find
  • Trace the trees that you have thrown away
  • No adds (or someone must have thrown a plane with a commercial message)
  • TAPP XE is device-based, so an account to login is not needed
  • Support for enhanced character sets (including emoticons, japanese etc)

Requirements

To use TAPP XE on your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch, you need to have:

  • Internet connection on your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch
  • Location Services enabled
  • iOS 4.x or higher (tested on iOS 4.x and iOS 5)
